| はい、出ました。お待たせのバンド・スタイルです。インポスターズ名義の第１作。コステロ・アンド・ナイーヴのステージでも披露済みの「45」から始まる本作の第一印象はやはり「BRUTAL YOUTH」に似ている。気合いは感じるが纏まった印象は薄い・・・。まあ、始めチョロチョロ、と次回作で本領が発揮され、そこで改めて評価されて行くべき作品なのでしょう。因みにこのアルバムのツアーは非常に良かったぞ。2002年発表。 | ||

| 何だか海賊盤の様なアルバム。レアな音源が入っているのでファンは買わざるをえないが、作品としては特に評価は出来ない。しかし、此処に入っている｢SMILE｣とか前に発表された｢SHE｣とか、ヒットしたからと言ってコステロの代表作とかにならないで欲しいなぁ。ダサイよ。2002年発表。 | ||

| この手は曲が憶えづれぇんだよな。悪いとは思わないけど、終わり方が唐突だし、全体に表現がグレーなので、通して聴くと一曲一曲の個性がとても判り難い。新しい奥さんに影響されちゃったの？との意見が一般的だが僕はコステロ・アンド・ナイーヴに或る意味オトシマエをつけたアルバムだと解釈したい。2人のライヴで聴くと結構イイんだ。2003年発表。 | ||

| ふむっ！これは良い。ファット・ポッサムから出してもおかしくないバリバリのパンク・ブルース・ナンバー満載。あまりにもあっさりと発表されたため、当初は本作も企画モノでは？と穿った目で見ていたが、聴き込む程にコステロのオリジナリティとエナジーが伝わってくる。付け焼き刃では不可能なこのスピード感は10年に1枚の快作と言っていいだろう。「when i was cruel」から参加のベーシスト、デイヴィ・ファラガーの御陰でバンド・サウンドは完璧となった。彼はブルース・トーマスよりも現状のコステロにマッチしていると思う。次に何が来ようと構わない。これこそが先生の本領だよ、と胸を張って叫ぼう。2004年発表。 | ||

| 「ザ・デリヴァリーマン」製作初期にミシシッピー州のクラークスデイル・タウン・スタジオで行われたワイルドなセッションを集めたアナログ・ミニ・アルバム。音源だけが欲しければ「ザ・デリヴァリーマン／デラックス・エディション」で聴くことが出来るが、音質は断然こちらのビニール盤の方が良い。CDとは圧が違うよ。しかしCDにはビデオが付いているので僕の様な欲張りは両方買おう。2004年発表。 | ||
